Who We Are
The Hartford Area Foundation is a philanthropic foundation for the benefit of local organizations and projects. We have no paid staff. The donations come from the Hartford area, grants awarded by local board of directors and benefit the Hartford area community.

As an IRS recognized 501[c] 3 tax-exempt organization; individuals, commercial and industrial establishments and estates can determine how they wish to improve our outstanding small community—knowing their efforts will benefit their tax position while their wishes are precisely carried out in a professional manner by the dedicated community leaders who comprise the Board.
